If you are looking for bikes, parts, tires, literature, food, or just plain fun check out the biggest antique/classic bicycle show on the east coast. At the Trexlertown Antique/Classic Bicycle Swap Meet there are thousands of parts, hundreds of bikes, highwheelers, low wheelers, vintage bmx, old bikes, new bikes, balloon tire bikes, middleweights, whizzers, and krates.
The annual Trexlertown Antique/Classic Bicycle Show and Swap meet is always held the first Sunday of every October. The show is run by Paul's Bicycle Shop Inc. and is held at the Trexlertown Fire Company's parking lot next to the Lehigh Valley Veledrome.
There are over 125 vendors each year at the show displaying antique/classic bicycles, bicycle parts, whizzers, pedal cars, and this year even some motorcycles.
The show starts offically at 6AM and vendors start to leave as early as noon. We ask that vendors try to stay until 2PM. We know most have some traveling to do to get home but it does help sales when more vendors stay longer. If you are a vendor swap space is $30.00 for approximately a 10 x 10 foot space. Spectators are admitted free. The show is advertised in more than a dozen publications or papers and heavily on the internet. The website had 534 people checking it out the week before the show and there were as many as 128 people per day checking out the site.
This year vendors as well as spectators will be able to purchase Trexlertown Swap Meet caps and t-shirts at the show. Vendors will be able to preorder t-shirts and caps and forms will be available in the vendor packet that is mailed every year.
